The Pause in Perth 2025
2h 1m
There is no doubt that hormones are essential to life itself. Women’s hormonal health has been vastly understudied and under appreciated...until recently.
The revolution has begun, but there is so much information to digest and consider; each woman’s hormonal journey is entirely unique.
In March 2025 Hera Menopause was truly honoured to host Dr Louise Newson, a fellow GP, pioneer of Newson Health and a trailblazer in Women’s Health. Dr Newson shared her insights as one of the world’s most experienced and leading clinicians in the realm of women’s hormone health.
From puberty through the fertile years, to the chaos of perimenopause and menopause, Dr Newson covers the huge impact that hormones have at a cellular level to our body and mind as a whole. Dr Newson educates us on the importance of Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone and the benefit of replacing these hormones in a body- identical fashion at menopause.
Watch the panel discussion following Dr Newson’s talk to see what questions our attendees posed to the expert panel.
Take a ‘PAUSE’ from your daily activities to listen to this internationally renowned speaker who will inspire you to be aware of and harness your own hormonal health, whatever stage of life you might be at. So many women have not made their health a priority and as a consequence suffer as they age. Invite your friends and family, partners and colleagues to watch alongside you, as this important narrative needs to be understood by the WHOLE community not just women experiencing hormonal changes.
Featuring Hera’s own Co- Founders Dr Sunita Chelva and Dr Michelle Cotellessa, Ernie Dingo leading the Acknowledgment of Country and Newson Health’s Dr Louise Newson and Dr Rebecca Lewis.
